Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania!
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your private safari guide will meet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. The drive takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
After check-in, take some time to relax and recover from your journey. Many lodges in Arusha feature peaceful gardens and beautiful views of Mount Meru, making them the perfect place to unwind.
In the evening, your guide will give you a short safari briefing. You’ll learn more about your itinerary and what to expect over the next few days.

Day 2: Serval Wildlife Sanctuary & Arusha Coffee Experience
After breakfast, travel to Serval Wildlife Sanctuary, located about 1 hour and 50 minutes from Arusha.
The sanctuary provides a safe home for rescued wildlife and offers visitors the chance to see different animal species in a protected environment. During a guided walk, you’ll learn about wildlife conservation while observing the animals up close. The experience lasts about 1 to 2 hours.
Later, return to Arusha and visit a local coffee plantation. Discover how Tanzanian coffee is grown, harvested, roasted, and prepared before enjoying a fresh cup of locally produced coffee.
After your tour, return to your lodge and relax for the evening.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, begin your safari with a drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2 to 3 hours from Arusha.
Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees and some of the largest elephant herds in East Africa. During your full-day game drive, you’ll also have the chance to spot:
- Lions
- Giraffes
- Zebras
- Wildebeests
- Buffaloes
- Many bird species
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Later, travel to the beautiful town of Karatu, near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend about 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s best places to see wildlife.
During your game drive, you may spot:

- Large elephant bulls
- Flamingos
- Hippos
- Hyenas
- The endangered black rhino
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your journey to Serengeti National Park in the afternoon.

Day 5: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Spend the day exploring the world-famous Serengeti National Park, home to some of Africa’s most incredible wildlife.
Morning and afternoon game drives give you the opportunity to search for:

- Wildebeests
- Zebras
- Gazelles
If you visit during the right season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration, one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife events.

Day 6: Sunrise Safari & Flight to Arusha
Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti.
Sunrise is one of the best times to see wildlife, as many predators are still active and the golden light creates perfect photography conditions.
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scenic flight back to Arusha. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti and Tanzania’s diverse landscapes.
Once you arrive in Arusha, transfer to your lodge and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight.
