The Northern circuits offer more than just bird watching.
There is a lot to witness and enjoy along the way from the historic Ngorongoro crater, different cultures to the vast wonderland called Serengeti full of animals. Two main factors to decide when to bird watch are variety and visibility. During the rainy season or soon after has the biggest variety of birds but the dry season makes it easier to navigate as well as providing ease of view especially for resident species; you may miss out on the migrating ones.
