10 Days safari and Zanzibar Escape

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your private guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you (30–40 minutes) to your lodge in Arusha.

Relax in the gardens, enjoy a refreshing drink, and take in the views of Mount Meru. In the evening, your guide will provide a welcome briefing to prepare you for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Serval Wildlife Sanctuary & Arusha Coffee Experience

After breakfast, depart for Serval Wildlife Sanctuary (approx. 1 hour 50 minutes). Enjoy a gentle guided walking experience through the sanctuary (1–2 hours).

Continue to Arusha for a guided coffee plantation tour and coffee tasting experience. Later, return to your lodge in Arusha in the afternoon.

Day 3: Fly to Serengeti – Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scenic 1-hour flight to Kogatende Airstrip in the Northern Serengeti.

Upon arrival, begin your game drive in the Northern Serengeti — a remarkable region known for its dramatic landscapes and its role as a key corridor of the Great Migration. Vast herds traverse these plains during migration periods, while abundant resident wildlife ensures exceptional sightings year-round.

After a full day of exploration, continue with a sunset game drive before settling in for the evening.

Day 4: Hot Air Balloon Safari & Central Serengeti Game Drive

Rise before dawn for a spectacular hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti plains. As the sun rises, witness wildlife from above in one of Africa’s most unforgettable experiences. The flight concludes with a champagne-style bush breakfast in the wilderness.

Later, continue with a Central Serengeti (Seronera) game drive — an area known for high concentrations of wildlife and excellent predator sightings. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the drive.

Return in the late afternoon for relaxation and dinner.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 4–5 hours).

Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full game drive inside this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, rhinos, flamingos, and abundant plains game.

Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before transferring to Karatu in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2–3 hours), famous for its giant baobab trees and some of East Africa’s largest elephant herds.

Enjoy a relaxed game drive with picnic lunch before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Arusha – Fly to Zanzibar

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred (30–40 minutes) to your hotel in Stone Town. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 8: Stone Town & Spice Farm Tour

Depart around 9:30 AM for a guided cultural exploration of Stone Town. Visit historic landmarks, bustling markets, and architectural treasures reflecting Zanzibar’s rich heritage.

Continue to a spice farm where you will see, smell, and taste fresh local spices, followed by a traditional lunch experience.

Return in the evening.

Day 9: Mnemba Island Snorkeling & Sunset Dhow Cruise

After breakfast, depart around 8:30 AM for Mnemba Island Marine Park.

Enjoy dolphin sightings, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and time on a sandbank. A seafood lunch with fresh fruits is included.

Later in the evening, embark on a traditional sunset dhow cruise along Zanzibar’s coastline.

Day 10: Zanzibar – Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight.
